What is care navigation?

How is care navigation different from case management or clinical services?
Care navigation focuses on guidance, coordination, and advocacy. We do not provide clinical treatment, therapy, diagnoses, or medical decision-making. Our role is to help you understand options, organize information, and navigate systems.
How We Work
Do you work directly with hospitals and providers?
Yes. With your consent, we communicate and collaborate with hospitals, medical providers, psychiatric teams, schools, and agencies to support coordination, clarity, and follow-through.
Do you attend appointments or meetings?
Yes, when appropriate. We can attend medical appointments, care conferences, discharge planning meetings, and system-level meetings to help support communication and understanding.
Do you work with children, adolescents, and young adults?
Yes. We support individuals across the lifespan and their families in navigating medical, psychiatric, educational, and support systems.
Do you offer remote services?
Yes. Services are available by phone, video, email, and secure messaging. In-person support may be available depending on location.
Payment & Insurance
Do you accept insurance?
No. Care navigation services are provided on a direct-pay basis. We do not bill insurance or accept insurance reimbursement for our services.
Can you help with insurance-related issues?
Yes. While we do not bill insurance, we can help you understand coverage, authorizations, appeals, and system processes related to care.
How is payment handled?
Payment is made directly by the individual, family, or responsible party. Payment details are discussed clearly before services begin.
Scope & Expectations
Is this medical, mental health, or legal advice?
No. Care navigation provides education, coordination, and advocacy. We do not provide medical care, mental health treatment, legal advice, or emergency services.
What if my loved one is resistant to care?
We take a collaborative, respectful approach focused on communication, engagement, and practical next steps.
How do you handle confidentiality?
All information is handled with professionalism and confidentiality consistent with ethical standards in care navigation and advocacy.
How long do services last?
